It was late, probably around midnight when Stormy stepped off the final step of the grand staircase. Rain pounded down on the roof of the ship as she walked across the floor to a chair, all alone next to a door. Stormy sat down in the chair and began to watch the people walking around. Most people were in their rooms, since it was pouring rain, but some brave souls were outside the ship. If anyone was out, most of them were inside in the same area that Stormy was sitting.
The room started to empty out after a few moments. Everyone was growing tired of standing around in the large room, while they could be in a more intimate setting of their rooms. Stormy sighed as she noticed she was now the only one in the room. She hated being alone, but she hated the third class rooms even more. Small and cramped, Stormy had barely any room to breathe when she was in her cabin. This was why she came up here at night. She needed to get away from the cramped quarters of the poor.
As soon as Stormy was alone in the room, she stood up and began to walk around boredly. It seemed that she was always able to clear a room in a matter of seconds, and tonight was no different. Everyone that was previously here was now gone, and it was still raining outside the ship. Stormy wished she could go outside, but knew she would get sick and would be on the wrong class deck. Oh, the joys of being third class. You can't go anywhere you want to go.
Stormy sat back down in the chair again as she grew bored of pacing around the room. Now, more than ever, she needed a friend. Someone to talk to. Someone she could trust. Sighing, Stormy ran a hand through her hair. She was wishing she had a friend to talk to, as the rain finally started to lighten up a bit. Maybe someone would come along down the corridor soon enough, and then she could have some social time.
